My peacock costume for Halloween! I bought the fabrics and materials and somehow pulled it together for a dress, and in the nick of time! I had no sewing machine so I had to hand sew the hem at the bottom, and somehow got the back to work. I had too much fun in this costume, and wished I could wear it every day!
Some friends and I went to a pumpkin patch a couple weeks before Halloween. I decided to carve images into my pumpkin that represent my apartment since there's three of us living here. You can obviously tell which one is me - it's my dog, Yoori, and I watching the sunset. I drew my brother's for him, the Tigers logo, but he decided to carve it and did an awesome job because I had failed to realize that the logo would just fall out if I actually carved it the way I drew it. See the little stilts he carved so that it could be suspended? Snazzy, huh? And, for Daniel, I drew the Canon logo since he loves taking pictures. He didn't want to carve it, though, so I just did a quick, rough job of carving it since I was tired of carving at that point. Man, who knew it was so exhausting carving pumpkins? At least we made some yummy pumpkin bread and garlic roasted pumpkin seeds out of them!

yay! you finally updated!
You love that dress underneath! :)
i forget how i got here, aimee. i think i saw you in someone's picture on facebook, wandered over to your profile (not cyberstalked...well, okay, i cybertalked), clicked on this link and was completely blown away. you have an amazing gift when it comes to the creative arts. pumpkin carving, halloween costume making, flower arranging, clay molding, what don't you do? i just thought i'd leave a little bit of encouragement for you, seeing as how it's been over a month since your last post. you have to keep sharing all this crazy stuff you're doing with us. it would really be criminal if you didn't. anyways, i hope that you're doing just fine, that you're loving life, and always, always, that this message finds you well. take care.
More, more, more...you crazy peacock!
haha. i have no problem with you linking my blog. i guess i could always use more readers even though that's not really why i post what i post.
as for the job situation, i'm not sure off the top of my head but i can definitely look into it for you. i worked at the detroit branch office for a year and know a lot of the corporate people pretty well. i'll try my best to make a mental note of it and not forget.
so what's compelling you to move back to the murder mitt? did i read correctly that you're out in san francisco? it is pretty expensive out there but worth every penny, i think. either way, i hope things work out in your favor. take care and i hope to see a new post sometime in the near future!
it's so cold in the murder mitt! ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
